Many career path options can keep you busy for years. You don't have to change companies to do something new.

Cons

Top down management style in some divisions is not very progressive. No work from home currently. Overhead of bureaucracy can be annoying.

Pros

People are great that you meet on your travels. Rotational work good for time off. Many overseas openings. Great after campaign parties, normally provided by management ( not all )! Friends you make within Halliburton become friends for life.

Cons

Management - only concerned with themselves and their career. Everything is always kept top secret as a way of retaining management so called power. Micromanaging still after all these years.
