Pros

people say, HSBC had glorious past and had the best culture in the whole banking industry. but have not seen that in 1 year of my experience. not sure why they boast about techs they use 100 years old. Indian senior managers are just like slaves that served British during India rule in 1700's. None would like to go back to the past and would suggest not to go here as nothing to learn new or nothing great about the culture here.

Cons

Everything is pathetic here. Senior mgmt, Business who are old and lethargic and all are here to only survive but not to learn or improve bank.

Pros

Personal manager was great asset to team ; overall good teammates

Cons

Getting mixed messages from company.... saying they want to keep a U.S. presence but at the same time doing mass layoffs and not investing in U.S. employees.

Pros

One of the most generous rewarders in Sheffield.

Cons

Promotions not gained by merit but by a failure to resource externally. Dubious ethics. Cover ups. Bullying. Rotten bonus system. Glib senior management.
