Pros

This company is so close to my heart that I cannot even think of leaving for better opportunity or money. This is so vast that if interested you can think of your retirement here

Cons

Sometimes things get stuck at some level and a bit unstructured in implementing the long term goals. But that happens with this kind of large corporations. HSBC has a new ways of working culture where we have a lot of young talent and this 150 years of legacy proves that we are preparing for another 150 years of being the leader in the financial sector

Pros

Wish I had something to say. Well they don't pay. So don't have to negotiate bonus

Cons

senior management forces employees to commit fraud, every employee is purposefully and regularly trained to lie. If you don't lie you will be forced to quit on false performance allegations. They are even scared to give experience certificate to employees and buddy existing employees every day

Pros

The work environment is extremely global. People embrace diversity and inclusion.

Cons

HSBC's technology is bad - from setting up computers to making phone calls. Our systems work very slowly, and we usually waste a lot of time, fighting with the systems. The organization as a whole is highly bureaucratic. No incentive for local offices to be innovative.
