(1) HR is worth nothing, they are completely senseless people. (2) 70% to 80% staff is not up to standards of their job requirement. In a group of 10 only 1 person runs the show. (3) Employee First is completely a showoff and way to get fame. Employees are first when it comes to any compromise or sacrifice. But good part is that they make employee feel that he is doing so for himself. (4) Salary is biggest issue, they can hire a person at your level with double your salary. But if you stay long enough and even after being O3 (Top rated for last three consecutive years) you will always be underpaid. (5) HCL does not do any best of the work in Software services area. (6) Since salary is very less, compensations are structured in such a way that even in 5 years it will be hard for E1, E2 band employee to have 1 Lac PF. (7) Health insurance used to be a very good in HCL but not anymore. (8) Internal Politics and Competition (9) Promotions are very easy but have really no meaning; they have divided their bands so heavily. Control and authority is moving with same people at higher and higher levels.

- They often hire through staffing firms (Robert Half, CompuCom, etc.). If they hire you this way, you will NEVER become a full time employee. Don't believe them no matter what they tell you. When pressed, they will straight up tell you they CAN'T do this. - They sometimes fish for recent college grads to fill slots (they call them 'freshers'). I don't know what freshers are paid, but it's not nearly what regular employees make, and if you start this way, even if you become full time, you will NOT get a pay bump to bring you into line with your peers. Their money guy shoots this down 100% of the time, saying that since you are paid X, you can't be moved or hired for any more than X + [small %]. - You will not advance at this company. Get hired at the level/position you plan on staying at for awhile. - You will be micromanaged to death, and it won't even be over things that are important to your job. - In lieu of the job not being hard, they will attempt to fill your schedule with as many mindless monkey tasks as they can without violating any laws.
