Pros

Great experience, lovely and experienced peers

Cons

Thrown in at the deep end and doing things wrong, no structure, no proper training. Quality standards are low in Barcelona in turn think they will be low in Ireland. No employee engagement at all. Constant stress, ambiguity, pressure and emotional/mental manipulation by management. Toxic environment. All smoke and mirrors, no truth or transparency. People marched off site because management took a dislike to them. Family company which expects family loyalty. Think people should be lucky to work for them. No choice but to work long hours. Mental and physical health suffered. No proper performance appraisal. Bonus are pathetic. Put the wrong people in positions of power who don't know the job.

Pros

There company color is blue. I like blue. Blue is a warm color.

Cons

Everything else not related to the company logo color. Poor benefits, inept leadership, no personnel development program, no investment in employees, no retention policy, no downward communication, all decisions made in Barcelona, they don't value leadership, they don't like change, quality is an afterthought, safety is less than an afterthought. In summary, not only to they not value their employees, I would go so far as to say they resent their employees and wish they could run the company with out them. Employees are a necessary evil.

Only if you're desperate

Pros

Still some dedicated people hanging on, but don't count on their help. Pay is above-average. Sometimes a Friday afternoon social.

Cons

Fear-based management, constant departmental shuffling, upper management in-fighting and maneuvering means you never know what your job will be or whether you're qualified to do it. Infrastructure is laughable: IT is practically non-existent, getting basics like computers, printers, keys or offices can take months. Projects are always on insanely accelerated schedules, so work is sloppy and post-launch activities are mostly putting out fires, appeasing customers. Turnover is high, especially in marketing and project management, so vision is 3 feet in front, i.e., what will you trip over next. Raises and bonuses are minimal, PTO policies are for the company's benefit. Ethics are definitely frowned upon, except for the mindless, repetitive online learning courses.
