Pros

Great benefits and for the most part pay scale. Have made alot of life-long friends

Cons

Alot of favoritism and many opportunities for advancement, especially if you do not have a Master's degree. They value degrees over knowledge and experience except for their executive team who half only had Master degrees or above. Work environment is dismal due to so many cutbacks and work overload.

Pros

Competitive pay, good benefits, generally good management. Like all companies, there are a few managers that everyone hates that seem to be retained for reasons unknown; most managers are decent people. The products are good and recognized brands the world over. Good job to go to if you are in 20's to 30's.

Cons

Recent layoffs seemed to focus on the over forty age groups. Being a sales rep in certain regions will be harder due to poor access to customers. Products are good but are aging and facing plenty of generic and me-too product competition, which means more micro-management as profits taper off. This it typical of many big pharma Co's. They have a good future pipeline, but introduction time lines are a guessing game.

Pros

Great group of professional people all committed to success. Lots of opportunities to learn new things and processes to to ensure disciplined work ethic.

Cons

Management (globally and locally) always changing strategies and over-reacting rather than staying on course. Expectations are high for productivity and work-life balance is impacted. Empowerment is preached but rarely practiced.
