Pros

You get your paycheck on time.

Cons

A toxic work environment with little ongoing training. Expected to log in 15 min before the shift to load tools. (unpaid) Expected to review emails, coach backs and the like on your own time (ie breaks, lunch) Many employees have not received their incentive pays properly. For almost 4 years I saw incentive pay on my checks only 4 times when it was supposed to be monthly. You are expected to SELL on every call even if in a nonsales role. There are NOW monthly quotas you MUST make or you get a written warning. YOU will BID for shifts based on impossible KPIs that favour long time employees. YOU will NEVER earn more than 10 cents above min wage.

Pros

Equipment & paid training. That’s about it.

Cons

The scheduling, the fact that you have no work & life balance, they expect you to be there 24/7. No thanks. I’ll find a place that actually cares.

Pros

*International environment. *You will meet great people here and make good friends.

Cons

*Recruitment process will start will lack of transparency. The information that will be transmitted to you is strategically chosen in order to make you come to Portugal. They can hide information about the real shifts you will be required to do. * "People first" is a slogan they chose as a Marketing strategy to make newcomers believe they matter. During my time working at Sitel we the employees complaint several times about numerous issues and their response always reflected that their priorities are not precisely on the people working for them. *Another Marketing strategy is making you believe the chances of growing in the company are very real. They are, as soon as you have close relationships with people in charge. They will many times take this more in consideration than your performance and previous experience. *The salary allows you to barely pay your rent and expenses, as the reality of Lisbon has changed and salary does not match the cost of life of the city. *Not a good work/Life balance. Rotation of shifts will make you work at night and then swap to mornings. Days off rarely happen during the weekend and is not common to have both days off in a row. This causes tiredness and unavailability to plan your life or have any kind of routine. *Many people in management lack the necessary skills
