Pros

the benefits are not expensive. The on boarding training is excellent

Cons

this is a horrible company to work for. Middle leadership is lost and not qualified. I think the C level has its plan together but are un aware the middle management is broken. There is no empowerment, and the zero support and if you don't like it "you can go work somewhere else"

Pros

Their pay is higher than most A great stepping stone for industry newbies

Cons

Loyalty to the company is not rewarded. At day 1 you get the same leave at someone whose worked for the company over 18 years. At 15 years with the company, they allow us to pick a gift: mug, water bottle, mouse pad, charger. The sabbaticals they promised as a benefit were taken away before they could be used. The 401k matches were taken away after a sales-busting year along with merit increases. The majority of top tier talent has left for better opportunities. Having butts in seats is more important than having well-trained employees. Only employees that are leaving are given retention bonuses.

Pros

-Working in the right department can be incredibly rewarding and teach skills that will be used for the rest of your working life. -Really great people can be found in the company though many leave quickly.

Cons

-It's very difficult, usually too late, to find out which departments are safe to move into. Too many bad or ineffectual managers that you should run from for your career's sake. - This company started out a little directionless but throughout his tenure, the CEO has really enforced his vision without properly supporting the product infrastructure and support teams. -Product has problem upon problem. It's never an easy installation process and it can feel like there is no end in sight for problems once you start encountering them. -HR is pretty ineffective. I have been lied to about what they can/can't do. I've heard of a harassers being able to continue to come to work while the harassed are asked to stay home during their investigation which started with plenty of proof. They are probably still investigating. -Internal pay for promotions is tough and you usually end up being paid at a lower rate than those being brought in.
