Pros

Don't get me wrong, it can be a great job. The benefits are phenomenal, and they start on day one. If you want to work extra hours, they are always looking for help. You're on your own all day, which is nicen

Cons

It might just be at my station, but there is zero communication between the management. It took 6 months to get my much needed uniform pieces. They volunteer people to work 12 hour days, even if they aren't signed up for extra hours. If they're short handed at 5 am, they will call and text you repeatedly, at 5 am, to come in. My phone is now on silent at night.

Pros

Excellent benefits and decent pay. I made $85000 last year with only a high school diploma. The job is much more manageable than driving for UPS. I'm usually home by 5:30 watching the UPS man go past my house 3 or 4 times.

Cons

Christmas is no longer a joyous time as we work right up through Christmas Eve and sometimes even on Christmas Day. Maybe a one day break if your lucky.

Pros

Benefits package and pay are competive

Cons

The company no longer follows its core values. The company treats its employees like a number. Management has zero accountability, so you do not ever speak with the manager who is actually writing you up. Courier employees are expected to do the jobs of managers. Later start times are encroaching on about a 3 month basis, giving you less time to do your job. Employees are being written up for not taking a full hour break, for being 99% on their numbers regardless of experience and conditions they had to deal with. Operations managers are being threatened to be written up by their managers for not writing up employees.
