Lots of Pros and Cons

The freedoms you have during the day. Weekends off. Not a whole lot of micro management.

Cons

I know that everyone wishs they could make more money. Thats pretty much everywhere. But at Fastenal the pay is absolutely horible. Year after year it gets worse and worse. Too many bean counters justifying there job back in Winona I guess.

great entry level job for an undergraduate right out of school tremendous benefits package any dedicated and hard working person can do well

Cons

pretty poor base salary difficult to climb the company ladder compensation is very poor for the amount of effort and extra time required

A lot of responsibilities and mandatory 10 hour days for low pay.

Worked with good people in a fun environment. Was a good place to work and it is a strong company.

Cons

In outside sales you are basically forced to work 10 hour days. The pay and bonus structure aren't that great.
