Management is focused not only on company growth, but also growth of its employees . The president makes a video every week updating all employees on company changes and goals. They invest a lot in there own schooling for employees. They give you freedom to run your store as an individual.

Pros

Great work/life balance, great managers, every day is different. Once you are a manager, many companies recruit from fastenal.

Cons

Low pay, their employment structure has too many lower level jobs, very very few upper level jobs. Once you get to a store managers job, it is hard to advance much further due to the lack of middle management jobs.
