Pros

Flexible schedule. You can teach yourself a lot about fasteners. Meet new business people in the area. No weekends, holidays, or nights.

Cons

Low pay for what the job entails. Managers are just those who have had good sales' numbers. They lack any management or leadership skills and use cliche phrases and terms for inspiration. Training is nonexistent.

Pros

Learn a lot about sales. Entry level position with a chance to move up if you do well. Not stuck in an office. Get to meet lots of different types of customers.

Cons

Work 55 hour weeks. Underpaid compared to competitors. Work environment is very bland. Mostly will be working alone.

Pros

Fastenal works around your school schedule and family life. They are only open Monday through Friday. Fastenal pays above the minimum wage which helps single moms.

Cons

It seems like it is impossible to get a full time job if you are a woman. It would take forever to become management. They do not provide real breaks.
