Pros

Management is very helpful and really there to help you in anyway. Flexible and relax environment. Good way to get your foot in the door in the industrial supply world. You will learn the business and company from the ground up which was an awesome experience for my early career.

Cons

I really enjoy working for the company but pay is too low to continue full time.

Pros

Great equipment, decent schedules , store people are pretty cool too, don't have to deal with too many idiots.

Cons

monthly salary for a truck driver is unheard of in the trucking industry, we used to have a quarterly bonus that made up the difference for what we didn't make during the normal month. They wanted to change a 4 day work week to a 5 day work week and not pay any more, really ? who works for free ?

Large company with countless resources. A great place to look for a new job. Tons of job offers. Take care of your customers and they'll take care of you at Fastenal and after you leave.

Cons

Really pore commission calculator. You shouldn't ever make less money then previous years while making higher sales and profit then ever before.
