Pros

It is a great, stable company. Co-workers are all hard workers, and very friendly. Managers are easy to approach and talk to whenever you want to.

Cons

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of room for advancement, with the exception of certain positions related to sales, stores.

Micromanaged to the teeth. The only thing constant in Fastenal is change. They change pay structure and things that effect your pay on a regular basis. Company will do whatever it takes to compensate share holders usually at the detriment of employees.
