      Was a good way to enter top companies and the public sector in the past. Alas not anymore.

      Pros

      Could get placed at companies such Barclays Bank, BP, as well as into good roles in the public sector with the opportunity to become a permanent employee at these organisations in 2 years. Alas in the current period of economic stagnation/recession there aren't that many good roles at top firms, roles are being moved outside of London and any roles that come your way may not be suitable/in your interest but you'll be pushed to take these roles in FDM's interest, not yours.

      No benefits outside pension, no health benefits, no flexibility in working from home/vs the office.

      Pros

      You might get placed with a good client that will possibly convert you to full time

      Cons

      You abruptly get off the client contract due to budget constraints and you still have to complete your 2 year contract and they won’t let you leave unless you want to pay the termination fee.
