Pros

- Decent training program if you don't know python, linux or sql. - WFH training if youre living in Melb (at the time of writing, as they are getting a new office in Melb)

Cons

- Selection process about the jobs are unclear, the Account Managers don't tell you why you havent made the cut - Pointless internal projects by the Academy (Didn't get to work on any "real world" projects, it felt like we could of done this in our spare time) - Lack of opportunities. Nov 2022,I asked the recruiter, what was the possibility that consultants would not get any roles, she said that she has never seen this happen, consultants get jobs all the time. Lo and behold, I only got 2 interviews in the span of 6 months, this was the same with many of my collegues at the time.

Pros

Had some good times on site and some good opportunities. Also a strong CV that I can now use to get recruited out at other better paying companies.

Cons

The cost of commuting to London or Leeds by train can be £100-140 per day. FDM is trying to get rid of consultants by forcing them all to come in, costing them £500++ per month. When you account for this expense in the salary, this knocks the salary well below minimum wage.
