      Foot on the ladder Good exposure to interesting clients Decent support once placed

      Cons

      - Heavily misleading numbers on placements - I saw far more people not get placed than the marketing material would have you believe. - Aggressive Account Managers - I was on the dev stream (happy to relocate) but I had several account managers try to push roles that had little to do with development. - Long times to get placed - for several people in Glasgow they went the full six months (3 months training, 3 months benched - all unpaid) before either having to drop out or extend their contract and get placed after this.

      Solid Java Development Course Prestigious Clients Possibility of coming out of contract with great experience and possibly a solid job opportunity A way to get your foot in the door as a developer if you have no prior work experience

      Cons

      Irritating pay structure (base salary + daily payment for days billed on client location) Uncertainty of length and location of client placement The 2 year contract is restrictive and if things go badly you could be trapped
