Pros

Mentorship, Strong Company Culture, Positive Environment, Home-Work Life Balance, Career Growth As a veteran looking for a career, FDM put me in the position to grow my skills in recruitment by giving me strong mentors and making training readily available. While recruitment can be seen as a job with limited growth, FDM gives its employees the opportunity to broaden their experience and cross into more exciting roles like Account Management and Business Development.

Cons

As a company that focuses on nurturing the careers of recent graduates and transitioning veterans I can honestly say that the opportunity is great.

Pros

You get a team of sales people selling you, you can focus on skills and training instead. You'll almost certainly get a job and get great experience over the years with fdm.

Cons

After 2 years you will have out grown FDM. No longer term strategy or career discussions. You can go months or a whole year without hearing from Fdm when you are on site. In the end you can feel like they don't care about you as long as you are bring in the money for them.

Thank you for taking the time to post a review. Your advice to management makes sense, we are always looking for ways to improve communication and contact with our remote workforce. We have a number of initiatives in place to support our people throughout training and whilst on site, some of the initiatives have been developed with our consultants. The Consultant Peer Support, Mentoring, HR support and Business Development Managers providing technical and professional advice. This support is currently available to all of our consultants. In our UK business around 30% of our staff are now into their 3rd year and beyond so meaningful contact and support is vital. That is why we value feedback and advice from our staff and customers to continually look into ways we can keep improving the experience of all our people.
