Pros

Good start for fresh graduate. Lots of opportunity Good training Peers are good Good start for business student in IT industry.

Cons

Sales do not respect the consultants. However, without consultant, they are actually nothing even they have business. Compare to the other consulting firm, for example Deloitte Financial Advisory, sales of FDM are not come from the consultant. So, they always send wrong people to wrong place since they have no practical skill.

Pros

Good for university students that have no work experience and are having trouble finding a job. It's a reliable way to enter the financial industry and getting connections. Think of the two years as a job insurance (in-case you get laid-off or fired, you can get rehired quickly ) for two years.

Cons

Pay is terrible. The compensation needs to increase if FDM wants to bring in more quality employees and improve their reputation with the banks.

Pros

- Award-winning training and exposure to high-profile clients early on in your career. - Great culture. Everyone is friendly, willing to help each other out if needed, and social events are held throughout the year.

Cons

- Many people list the unpaid training and 2-year contract as cons. However, I thoroughly enjoy the training, and the 2-year contract adds structure to your time at FDM, whilst there's also flexibility when the 2 years is over.

Jonathan Young, CIO: We are pleased to hear you are enjoying the friendly and inclusive culture that we work very hard to nurture here at FDM. It is very important to us that our trainees and consultants establish a good network with their peers at the same time as training for their future. It is really good to see your comments on the 2 year contract. Alongside providing you with security and exposure to long-term projects, this contract is also in place to provide the clients with the continuity of personnel and the opportunity to fully invest in your development. I would have liked to have the same thing in place early in my career too!
