Pros

They give you generous holidays - when you wish to take time off they make it rather difficult. When you do manage it you return to all the work you missed while you were on vacation.) They do send you on assignment - and HR are at pains to inform you that there is a strict policy that everyone flies economy class - even at Director level! When you board your plane you find your counterpart from Milan sat in a business class seat. They do pay you a meals allowance and they do have a canteen - I found that my daily allowance didn't nearly manage to cover the cost of a cup of coffee. At my level I was entitled to a company car - but sadly these days they don't provide the car, but they give you a car allowance instead. It is stipulated that this car must be a minimum standard. I found the allowance would not even reach to running even a meagre vehicle, let alone purchasing one - but it does ensure that when you are asked to visit on business you have one hell of a job convincing HR to accept your claim for travelling ex's.

Cons

If it was possible to score culture and values tab as a zero, without looking as if I missed them out, then I would have, - same goes for the senior management tab - in fact I rate just everything about my experience as below 1 star..

Pros

Friendly people (non-managerial level).

Cons

(EIRL): - There is no meritocracy, you have to be a member of the inner circle (or blond single girls ) to be promoted and successful otherwise forger about Eirl! - The middle managers (all Italian) are unprofessional and inexperienced, they do not like to see knowlagable people in their teams as it may reveal their own inadequacies. - Unprofessional and incompetent local HR team, they bully and manipulate you and that is normal in the company's culture.

Pros

Good office locations. Some people actually know what they're doing. Good pension scheme and perks.

Cons

Corrupt to the bone, their code of ethics sounds great but they do the opposite of what they preach. People are promoted if they have the right connections and kiss the right backsides. Nobody takes notice if you do a good job because most managers are useless, you wonder how this company is one of the major oil & gas companies in the world. The word 'meritocracy' is a swearword at Eni.
