Pros

It was a good company where things felt transparent and the client and customer was put first. Employees were treated decently.

Cons

Throughout my employment, benefits deteriorated, pay fell behind but most importantly leadership became opaque. The Wall Street profit quarter to quarter became the paramount metric. Somehow lost sight of the client and the customer. Middle management did not evolve despite having a highly capable and committed workforce. I do not know why I stayed so long. I was wrong to do so.

Very good work flow, with like minded individuals trying to get to a common goal. People are willing to help when you need it

Pros

The Cigna Group overall is a fantastic company to work for! They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

Cons

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
