Pros

1. Benefits: as an employee you get the option to choose any of Cigna’s millions of plans, that don’t pay for anything w/o a PA (FYI pharmacy is the Home Delivery pharmacy Express Scripts, 2 fill allowance at retail & that’s that!) 2. Thanking God for a job until the purpose is clear

Cons

1. Outside of breaks (15m) & lunch (30m) the expectation is to be on the phone, if you must use “personal” aux daily outside of these times an ADA Accommodation is needed, & to think Cordani goes to the bathroom WHENEVER he has to or even when he wants too!!! 2. Even if you’re a top performer & meeting company metrics monthly you still will NOT get the “quarterly bonus” stated in the job listing, wishful thinking!!! It’s rigged that way!!! 3. Colleagues are still very toxic & unprofessional (customer service reps to clinicians at doctorate level education) working virtually from home, like kill that attitude or did Cigna kill your spirit 4. Must use Cigna’s Home Delivery Pharmacy Express Scripts who doesn’t fill anything less than a 35 day supply, (2) fill allowance at retail & thats that! 5. Managers & higher ups normalize poor processes & unprofessionalism. Gather feedback & nothing changes because people love dysfunction

Pros

The Cigna Group overall is a fantastic company to work for! They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

Cons

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
