Pros

. People, who care more than management . Opportunity to move around within the company

Cons

. HR who is in the pocket of mgmt . IT Senior and Mid level mgmt who are busy creating bureaucracy instead of promoting collaboration . Poor university hire and emerging leader program, seen a lot of promising Gen Y and Nexters disappointed and no support system . Not open to new ways of thinking

Pros

The Cigna Group overall is a fantastic company to work for! They invest in their employees and do a great job ensuring everyone, in all departments/locations/teams feel as if they matter with the multitude of perks they offer to employees. Many team members were knowledgeable, hardworking, and genuinely committed to supporting the healthcare industry.

Cons

While employed at Cigna healthcare, I experienced a work environment that often lacked consistent communication, balanced workload distribution, and transparent leadership practices. High-performing employees were frequently expected to absorb additional responsibilities without corresponding support, while shifting expectations and excessive micromanagement created unnecessary stress and instability. Over time, this impacted morale, trust within teams, and overall employee well-being.
