It’s disheartening to hear that you couldn’t build meaningful relationships with your colleagues. We pride ourselves on our welcoming environment and want to ensure everyone feels safe at work. We apologise if you felt that you were required to work in an environment with ‘drunk’ colleagues. We take workplace professionalism seriously and whilst team members are invited to select a drink from our fridges on a Friday in recognition of their work, there is a two-drink maximum for both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
Whilst we acknowledge you’ve cited drug taking, you’ve identified this as being something you’ve ‘heard’ rather than witnessed. We have a clear zero-tolerance policy which is actively enforced, and we are confident that this does not reflect the working environment at TeacherActive.
There is currently no contractual requirement to exchange your soul for a competitive market salary, but we do ask employees to bring both motivation and determination to work.
