Pros

The only thing I love about working with TP is the people you get to meet. I have made so many lovely friends - but it is like that in most workplaces.

Cons

The management are always quick to jump on any small thing you do wrong and use it against you. Being 1 minute late 3 times can get you a disciplinary! They don't take into account your situation, or what the traffic was like. They just care that you were not on the phone for that 1 minute. Also there are barely any opportunities to grow in this career. The options are few and far between. Then there is the salary. Absolutely awful. How they expect people to live on minimum wage is beyond me. Not only this but there are barely any worthwhile incentives and if you are one of the lucky few to get a pay rise it is by the smallest amount possible (about 5 pence). Looking around at other jobs in Bristol, people with the same job and a LOT less work to do/knowledge to learn get paid almost double the amount!

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Cons

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
