Pros

I truly believe they'll hire anyone.

Cons

Everyone on the call floor wishes they worked literally anywhere else. You can be fired for pretty much anything When questioned on why I was being paid less than a man who did the same job as me and even started on the same day as me despite him being in a lower minimum wage bracket the boss couldn't give an answer panicked and said she didn't have the paperwork but she'd find it. She didn't. Holidays cancelled with extremely minimal notice - told there's no record of them so they can't be booked back in. A manager's friend mysteriously gets 2 weeks holiday that same day. Schedules are frequently wrong and don't match contracted hours - the ACCM's advice is that it's just tough because you have to work what the schedule says even if you think it's wrong You're timed going to the bathroom and disciplined if you take more than 2.5% of your shift to go.

Calls are back to back and you have to meet all metrics.

Pros

For the most part, I have an open availability. I do however, like not having to work on Sundays. Some campains allow for a 1 hour lunch break. The hiring process was fairly easy. Your equipment is provided. There is opportunity for advancement. They are helpful when it comes to license renewal. Calls are back to back which for me seems to make time go faster. Flexibly as to when you want to take your lunch break. You have to opportunity to assist people without having to feel it was rushed. Off all major holidays.

Cons

Rushed training that may leave some questions unanswered. I feel like I had to figure things out on my own. Getting the assistance you need to help a client took longer than it should, especially when the client is on on hold, waiting for your response. At times some trainers seem to be unprepared for the roll they have taken. Calls are frequently monitored. Not much time between calls. It can take too long to transition from on campain to the next after the project has ended.
