- The "this is what it's like" speech in training is completely false.
- Unprofessional senior staff (such as Team Leaders)
- If you're not in the inner social circle then you're going to have a bad time!
- Aren't fair when it comes to pay - overtime does not get paid for, their pay scales are deliberately complex, and the pay is significantly less than what should be expected
- Atrocious holiday system - if you get them booked, they'll probably be deleted without you knowing (advice to current employees, take screenshot of holidays you take as I've had to rely on these several times!)
- Poor team support from senior staff that can be at times contradictory
- Regardless of how hard you work, you're utterly expendable and if there are clear agendas to get certain staff members dismissed
- Extremely poor work/life balance. Despite being on 40 hours a week, your shifts will be different each week. Have a family gathering next month? You'll have to rely on the awful holiday system or the kindness of other staff members in order to ensure you can get it off.
*I fear to provide my office location and job title, as TP may deduce who I am and single me out at work.
*I have worked across two TP offices under several campaigns and my experiences above are true of both locations.
