Have your eyes wide open when considering a role on the retail marketing team - Senior Market Manager TELUS Employee Review

1. unfortunately, i worked with a micro-manager. It was a horrible experience, bringing so much experience and retail marketing skills to the role only having every single work item scrutinized, fought over or blocked. 2. Talk to people on the team - I had a weird feeling the first time I met my manager. I should have followed it (I did an internal transfer), and asked to meet other people on the team to get an accurate picture of team dynamics, pressures, and manager styles. 3. The job description was really about marketing and bringing programs to life - however in reality, it was a glorified operations role managing an excel template. Would definitely NOT recommend to ANYONE.
