Pros
- Excellent hourly pay (+ bonuses) - Thorough 12 week training - Great benefits - Convenient location - Excellent co-workers TELUS as an overall company is excellent. However, I do not recommend anyone work there in the Client Care role.
Cons
- TELUS acts as if they are very customer service focused when it reality you are under constant pressure to sell, sell, sell. Being threatened that you'll lose your job if your sales aren't high (when you're maintaining excellent customer service and quality scores anyways) is absolutely ridiculous. This role should be split into 2 roles - Customer Service Rep and Sales Rep - I also experienced extremely poor management support I haven't worked at TELUS since early 2015 and still cringe every time I see a commercial. If you value your sanity, do not work in the Edmonton Client Care Department.
