Not bad if you NEED a job but avoid if you aren't Spanish/Portuguese - Sales Assistant Stradivarius Employee Review

Even though company policy states that people must speak in English during the working day, all of the staff speak Spanish amongst themselves. This is not an issue if it's during lunch or their break but it got to a point where I was the only non-Spanish speaking person working at the flagship Oxford Street store and when we would close the store, the manager would instruct fully in Spanish and let us go fully in Spanish. Completely disregarding me and making me feel really alienated. Sometimes she'd remember I existed and say "You can go now" in English. As well as this, there's preferential treatment for promotions and the better shifts for their friends - it's a very clique-y place and I just really hated working there for that reason.
