Pros

Friendly office culture, not boiler room Fairly low pressure environment to break into sales Manage full cycle so get to close deals regularly

Cons

Outbound lacked strategy, essentially spray and pray and reliant on inbounds. Too much focus on dial counts versus adopting new channels to outbound. Little Hotelier is outdated and vastly inferior to modern PMS. SiteMinder Platform/CM is great at what it does but so are other channel managers. Slowly moving back to in-office first with the addition of new London office. Base pay on low side at 31k

Thanks so much for your review, it is wonderful to read that you were so immersed in our London office culture. Culture within Sales is incredibly important and coupled with the environment, which you recognise as a great place to break into Sales, it sounds as though we are winning on both scores there! We value our sales leads whether inbound or outbound and our sellers work incredibly diligently at prospect selling through a consultative approach with new customers. Equally, because we operate with our own award winning products this also means that our customers clearly see the Return on Investment when we are able to demonstrate the value add. Activities absolutely has a place across Sales to set up the best experience for a new customer, however we set ourselves apart from the 'boiler room' as you say - our focus across our EMEA Sales teams is to operate with quality not quantity, preferring great conversations with customers than heavy dial numbers.
