Pros

A good way to start and gain experience in aviation. Wage could be worse, even if life in Dublin is really expensive. You may become number 1 easily after one year and increase your wage about 400-500 euros more. The roster is fixe, five days on three days off, which can be quite satisfying if you look for stablity in aviation. You will always come back home the evening, except if something happens, like an aircraft damage when then you will overnight.

Cons

Exhausting. You will provide many hours for this wage, Dublin is one base when you can evolve and earn more quickly but it is not the same for every bases accross Europe. Ryanair unfortunately provides different conditions depending on the location. Ryanair's system is completely disorganised, which means that some people not all the time better than others will be selected to become number one or to get the transfert when the ones doing their best won't be rewarded. It is not a pattern, but it is way too much a matter of luck and people you will get in touch with. You will have to fight and beg for every favour you will want, like unpaid leave or flexible roster. You will also work one week on earlies, start at 5 lots of morning, and work on lates the week after, finishing most of the time around 11-12pm. As said before, exhausting.

Pros

Decent salary, but still not enough, and not even comparable with other airlines, also the low cost ones.

Cons

Everything. The worst company I have ever worked for, 0, ZERO respect for the workers. Your are just a slave, that needs to sell as much scratch cards and products on board. If you don't do it? They will call you on your personal mobile and tell you that it's not acceptable and stuff like this, trying to scare you. I have seen people FIRED for this, and even for other stupid things. Also sometimes, it's SO unsafe! There's cabin crews, that I met, that literally don't know anything about this work, not even closing the doors properly. Absolutely a disaster, but yeah, you just need to sell as much as possible, who cares about the rest.. Also, you are not getting paid for OT, it doesn't even exist, usually you do 4 flights in a day, you could start at 5:00 AM (It means that you need to get up at 3:30 maybe, and be at the airport on time), and get back home after 5/6 PM, it happened to me a lot of times, and my health, was absolutely a disaster, I had to leave because I had a lot of medical conditions due to flying too much. I couldn't do that anymore.
