Pros

Good candidates and clients, nice view from office

Cons

The manager of one of the teams in the Melbourne office repeatedly pressured me about my reasons for not drinking with the team and why I didn’t want to spend every Friday night drunk in a bar with them. I asked her not to bring this up any more but it was brought up in my formal performance review that I wasn’t a “social member” of the workplace as I didn’t come out with them. Very gossipy management team who are more concerned with their friends in the company and their social life after work. Wouldn’t recommend based on my experience - was eventually asked to tender my resignation due to “cultural differences”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, we’re proud to work with exceptional candidates and clients and I’m glad you enjoyed that experience. But I’m concerned to read your cons, we work hard to build a team-based, collaborative culture where all our people feel a sense of belonging and that they can bring their whole selves to work every day, but what you describe sounds like it falls short of the high expectations we set for ourselves. I’d appreciate the opportunity to find out more about your experiences, if you’d like, you can reach out to me at dan.rogers@robertwalters.com.au to arrange a confidential discussion. Pros

The company does value work life balance however with the recent merger the team structure changed and the management team really needs to add structure to make it more cohesive however they only care about meeting numbers

Cons

Management does not care in performance of employees unless they are not meeting numbers
