Pros
Commission based so aren't capped. Pretty good payout for the industry. A few really great people around but they are few and far between.
Cons
Not a lot of support. The "management" of "former successful advisors" are just yes men who are trying to climb to the top. They do not actually care about you or your success unless it directly helps them. When put with a current advisor they were awful at mentoring and did not help growth at all unless it was a client where they would get a split of the business. Cold calling leads with the classic insurance vibe. You are pushed to give products to people rather than manage their money and really get down to full financial planning. Would recommend elsewhere if you want to ACTUALLY work with folks and help them with their finances in depth rather than give them a product.
