Excellent fill-in work - Table Manager Pearson Employee Review

Pros

The highly flexible hours was the biggest perk. I was scheduled as available for scoring sessions, and I was never signed up for sessions before I OK'd them - they'd ask which sessions I could go to and schedule me for those. I don't know of any other entry-level job that schedules around the employees. The scorers - retired teachers, mostly - are also a pleasure to work with, and the scoring managers are hyper-competent.

Cons

Excessive amounts of bureaucratic paperwork - most of the job consists of filling out redundant forms and filing. Some administrators were incompetent and deeply unpleasant, but they have impeccable job security. Don't expect corporate to care about you.

Pros

When a project goes according to plan you can work with some great people and make decent money.

Cons

Bad behavior is tolerated when you have a weak team member. They are allowed to remain on payroll, even if they do not effectively contribute. The burden is often placed on the team members willing to pick up the slack. Promotions are not given to the most qualified. They are randomly assigned. There are some horrible scoring directors as a result.
