Pros

The junior team are lovely and very welcoming. Seniors can be more hit and miss - some are fantastic, others are not. Ultimately the best thing about working here was that I quickly learned some skills that allowed me to switch to a more sustainable and enjoyable job.

Cons

I worried that many of my issues were due to my being new. But the things I note below are very much still issues for most of those who've been in the company for many years: - Terrible work/life balance - Staffing on multiple projects simultaneously is a mess with little effort made to ensure both projects don't well exceed 100% of your allotted time - Crazy, variable, last-minute deadlines which could often be avoided - Seniors very often overpromise to sell projects based on hype, and then don't take responsibility for underdelivering, sometimes blaming juniors for not being able to execute on them - Work is ultimately monotonous and unrewarding - Projects often rehash the same, potentially unreliable material - Benefits/salary is well below competitors - Team structures are very silo'd and competitive, meaning it can often be hard to get internal resources you need to complete a project - For a company that prides itself on using tech to tackle big problems in Pharma, the tech infrastructure accessible to consulting is dire, antiquated and often gate-kept by teams who are not fully onboard with it being used for consulting projects

Pros

Remote work option is nice to have

Cons

Zero support from management, with employee development and team concerns often taking a back seat to other priorities. Morale continues to go downhill, and several colleagues exploring opportunities elsewhere or leaving the organization already. The culture is challenging, particularly around providing candid feedback, as employees often are tracker down and face negative repercussions and retaliations. Career advancement depends more on aligning with leadership preferences than on merit and performance. Would not recommend this company to those seeking a supportive environment with transparent growth opportunities. Overall, the culture is political and difficult to navigate.
