Pros

The bonuses they pay are higher than other banks

Cons

Don’t listen to the corporate spin, management all say the right things to give the illusion of a flexible well run workplace, but reality is it’s only talk and nothing gets implemented. Even your benefits aren’t always honoured - There is a huge culture of blame disguised as feedback. You will be accountable for other stakeholders actions despite them not reporting to you - heavy meeting culture I.e. back to back meetings every day resulting in people company wide working til 10pm to just keep up to date. It’s just accepted that you do longer hours - the onboarding is non existent and you have to learn as you go - taking any leave outside of annual leave is a big issue, they will try make you cancel it or only part approve it - sink or swim environment with little support. If you ask for support you are told to problem solve it yourself - blocked calendars are ignored - restructures very often which means job security is an issue - tight budgets (so bonuses aren’t impacted) which means a lot of people are working more than one role for no extra pay I normally read these things and think they are from a disgruntled employee. I am not, but I would like to warn people about the poor culture and illusion they give of being a well run supportive company

Pros

Good, smart colleagues in other offices.

Cons

At times, decisions appeared to prioritize individual objectives over team needs, which affected collaboration and morale. Greater consideration of team perspectives and shared goals would help build trust and engagement. I observed instances where expectations communicated to the team were not consistently reflected in leadership actions. Greater consistency between stated values and day-to-day decisions would strengthen credibility and confidence within the team.
