Minimal room for growth, low pay, unrealistic expectations, toxic workplace on many fronts, no work life balance, a lot of "you're lucky to be here" messaging, boys club, lots of nepotism, really fast turnover of employees. They alsi often hire people as full-time freelancers with the promise to be FT salaried after a year, but will fire you after that year instead of bringing you on full time (not my experience, but saw it happen to dozens of talented colleagues).
