Pros

Cache. Name recognition. World-class brands.

Cons

Very little work-life balance. Politics of pretty. Lots of big egos. Print people are afraid of digital and trying extra hard to assert their power. It's like rearranging deck chairs on the Titanic. The ship is still sinking.

Pros

You’re wealthy enough to be relaxed, but not wealthy enough to be careless.

Cons

but NYC’s costs prevent true luxury unless income is much higher.

Pros

Great to be in proximity to such amazing brands like Vogue, Vanity Fair and the New Yorker

Cons

Pay is absolutely criminal unless you're "bonus eligible." Another billion dollar company crying poverty. Also, absolutely zero possibility of advancement.
