Pros

The intern program is great! You get to hear speakers every week or two and can participate in the Intern Magazine. The formal intern program is much more selective than a general internship and there are some added perks that come along with it. Overall, you learn a lot, but you have to be a self-starter. Also get Summer Fridays!!

Cons

No pay ($12/day stipend), hard to be promoted within company, intern duties depend on your mentor (some mentors make you do very menial tasks)

Pros

You’re wealthy enough to be relaxed, but not wealthy enough to be careless.

Cons

but NYC’s costs prevent true luxury unless income is much higher.

Pros

Great to be in proximity to such amazing brands like Vogue, Vanity Fair and the New Yorker

Cons

Pay is absolutely criminal unless you're "bonus eligible." Another billion dollar company crying poverty. Also, absolutely zero possibility of advancement.
