From Conde Nast Technology Lab (Bangalore & Chennai) perspective: Very hight senior leadership (SVP & above) who are based in US/UK, don’t show clarity in their words or future roadmap. Frequent firing is one of their biggest stance whenever they can’t meet revenue/financial goals. They just lack the courage to give straight answers to straight questions even during an ‘All-Hands’ or similar forum. About HR from this region: Absolutely laid back, many a times unprofessional. They take weeks or even months to proactively communicate about important employee benefits such as ‘health insurance’. The subsidised food in the cafeteria is no lesser than welcoming hospitalisation for the employees. HR lacks in ‘clear & straight’ communication and they totally support abrupt firing also.
