      Pros

      Interesting projects. Great people and good middle management. Nice benefits and pay. Good career opportunities but you need to fight hard for them. Good WLB. Sometimes I read in reviews horrible stories about Amazon, but that's not my experience. I guess it depends on the team you are on.

      Cons

      Probably common to other companies, but it's hard to get promoted. You need to fight to find opportunities to work on projects that give you visibility, and there is a lot of competition. Since Jeff left, CEO and upper level management are completely clueless.

      -Before start date very limited, information about AWS(They don't like sharing over the internet. -Fast pace with training and learning.

      Pros

      Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

      Cons

      You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
