Pros

Working at a well-known company always seeking to be number one. Good salaries and stock benefits. Awesome talent everywhere

Cons

Customer obsession never applies to employees. The concept of frugality really means being cheap, doing everything possible to shave a buck or two with employee benefits and merchant support. Most of all, though, is the obsession towards providing data to explain your performance; too much time is wasted in internal proceses and reporting...don't we have tools for that?

Pros

Very smart people, very interesting line of business and great colleagues. I came from a lot of multinationals and the company ranked high in team spirit. Salary is high for comparible positions in other companies.

Cons

Do not realise why, but it feels like a billion dollar startup for the worse: really high turnover, no organization, no time to learn, my senior team members left after I was 3 months on the job and nobody had time and knowledge to teach me. After all your experience in the company will depend on the circumstances, I was on the least appealing job in the least appealing category... add to it at least 9-10h of work daily. It felt in the end like a call center.

Great work. Bad work-life balance.

Pros

Great workplace. You get to work with an international team that knows a lot about Marketing and Traffic initiatives.

Cons

Any senior role at Amazon takes around 12h a day to get done. That makes work-life balance a bit challenging and leaves no time for your personal life.
