Pros
Good work environment, stellar coworkers. Great benefits package and access to additional employee discounts, both inside and outside Amazon.
Cons
Loss of focus in the department, greater emphasis on standardization and restricting employee access rather than providing the tools needed to resolve issues. HR for our department of several hundred employees is just one person and they don't respond to emails.
