It's a good paying brainless job - Sortation Associate Amazon Employee Review

Pros

All Tier 1 associates get paid the same, and those that show interest in learning are often given chances to learn new roles, and earn a few more hours each week.

Cons

All Tier 1 associates are paid the same at Delivery stations. Regardless of if the pull 4 routes in 4 hours or 6 routes in 4 hours. And the laziest person that kisses the right butt usually gets promoted before the hard working, proactive person. Management yells are you, even if they are completely wrong. They will also throw you under the bus for telling you the wrong information.

Pros

Really smart people, a lot of opportunity for growth, always encouraged to be innovative, think big, and create something new. Competitive salary and benefits with other major tech companies. 100% self motivating work environment. No dress code and 4 legged friends are welcome.

Cons

You have to be self motivated. NO ONE will hold your hand and tell you that you're doing a great job. If you need constant affirmations from management, this company isn't for you.
