Siloed, myopic and excessive focus on cost reduction

Pros

- people are nice - global company - relatively stable and growing

Cons

- slow career growth - low salaries - excessive focus on costs mean jobs at high costs location are always at risk. This drives low engagement and employee turnover - siloed organisation: narrow focus on the interests of specific function and some senior leaders have been there for too long and built their empires. They are resistant to change. The CEO of the parent group is one of the most well paid in the industry and it was ironical to see him promoting himself as being “understated” in the media. I personally don’t know what he does apart from sending 2 emails per year announcing company results. I have never seen him in my career of more than 5 years!

Thanks for leaving your review. With the business world changing constantly and so rapidly, virtually every established business feels the imperative to improve and innovate continuously. Executives, managers and employees across our business work hard to figure out how to best and strategically address the genuine needs of our customers and partners globally. Career development remains a key focus, and we’re committed to creating structures supporting upward mobility. Our overall attrition remains low, which suggests we’re fostering a rewarding work environment, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t room for improvement. We encourage our employees to speak up if they experience issues regarding their projects and initiatives. We ask that you speak to your manager or HR partners regarding any concerns. Thank you.
