Pros

Fantastic co-workers, and environment of continuous learning and development make Elsevier a wonderful workplace.

Cons

The building is very noisy, with large open workspaces and short (desk-high) cubicle walls -- very difficult to actually work and concentrate.

Pros

Benefits kick in almost immediately, some wonderful people to work with,

Cons

Policies constantly changing, high school behavior, favoritism, at times can be unorganized, main office is in Europe so communication and ideas doesn't mesh, stressful, bonus comes in the form of food if not working on commission, feeling like not supported or heard
