Pros

Income and benefits were comparable to industry average. Product line is impressive and company size gives it a strong market footprint.

Cons

Entire departments came and went over the years keeping those left with a feeling of uncertainty. Management concentrated on the present only with little vision towards the future. Care of employees was minimal and security of position was alway in question regardless of performance.

Pros

Good Beneftis and time off. Decent offices.

Cons

Way too disorganized and dysfunctional. The company talks a great game, but treats their employees like numbers and refers to them as managing "resources". Allows a culture of silos and fiefdoms to self perpetuate with no clear business plan and constant reorging. Classic hamster on the wheel going no where fast situation.

Pros

MedAI/Elsevier is a company is always on the cutting edge of forecasting data modeling. It is an exciting field to be in and if I had been able to move to Orlando I would still be employed there. The company is in a constant expanding mode of 20% for the last 5 years and actively works at growing the company. The main objective of the company is to improve their current products, invent new products that will eventually replace the current products and constantly go after new customers while keeping currently customers happy. The president of the company is a former sales person and she know how to grow a company.

Cons

The downside of MedAI/Elsevier is that they are becoming management heavy. They will have a Program/Project Manager over two people. In some cases these people have never actually been managers and that really can be a problem as they can not deal with problems with in team dynamics.
