Great place to learn, grow and while being in a great team

Elsevier provides opputiniues to grow for example you get 2 weeks of dev days every year where you can learn new skill. They have partnered with different education platforms where you can learn from. Every year there is a pay review and pay is increased depending on your performance

Cons

When you join the company after a couple years you might not get paid according to the market rate unless you ask for a pay review

-great international environment -various benefits and hybrid options -some chances to grow but with a lot of personal effort -great work-life balance

Cons

-huge pay gaps for the same role, it all depends on the salary you got when you joined the company for the first time -after a few years, the work can feel mundane, repetitive and totally predictable. For someone who seeks professional growth, the only way is to put personal effort into growing or joining side projects
