Pros

They will work with you when you need time off for kids, appointments, etc. They are very good about that.

Cons

It is the very worst example of American Corporate Culture. Nothing matters, except the bottom line. Do more with less. They want you to get it all done, but they don't give you the tools to execute. And - no matter what you do - it won't be enough. You could work 60 hours or more a week, and you still will have things you didn't complete or get to. And those will be the very things they will go on about. Don't bother giving your opinions. If they don't match the "Eaton" culture, then you're seen as "difficult" or "negative". Just say "yes" to everything you're asked to do - no matter how non-value-added or redundant. Otherwise, you're not a "team player". Leadership is a revolving door. And - leadership changes the priorities from quarter to quarter, so you're never really sure what's important anymore. Not to mention - leadership is often divided on what should be a priority. Operations versus Customer. Customer Service versus Supply Chain. Supply Chain versus the world. Promises are made, but rarely followed through. They are said just to keep you there. Without a degree, you are a non-person.

Pros

Overall a good company, decent pay, and good coworkers.

Cons

The East Asia management is the biggest reason people leave this organization. Despite decent pay.......political management, toxic atmosphere, favouritism and pulling people down are seen often. This domino effect is terrible. If you are a middle-aged aspirational individual, this is a WRONG place to be in. The Management does not like anyone working hard (as it's more work for them). Team meetings include a significant amount of toxic humor if you don't fall in that network. Personally, I couldn't wait to get out.

Pros

* Great global policy and work culture * Work ethics is given more importance so one can not misbehave or disrespect others, not even Managers. * Good pay * Good work life balance * Plenty of work opportunity if you are willing to do more.

Cons

The only negative is the kind of people in the Management. Most of the managers are unskilled and never did any great work but got the position because of the favourism from similar mindset managers. And now most of Management is full of such people. So think, how can unskilled people show that they are doing some good work? Simple, prepare some ppts for fake initiatives with big titles. If you are manager its even more easy. Ask your team to do a POC for you and fill technical content in ppt. No body cares about prject, team and company. If team does something good, manager takes the credit and for any mistake team is blamed. The few good and skilled managers are also leaving because of politics.
